Phoenix trip part 2

Well it seems we're still not there yet. We didn't miss the morning
flight, per se, we were here, but they offered us free tickets to
anywhere US if we took the evening flight instead. I sure hope this
airline flies out of the north with all these free tickets.
So we amused ourelves by train trecking around the city and visiting
various locales.
They want money for everything it seems, and we
finally splurged and went for a long skate on some downtown rink (the
mini olympic oval) with the dullest, '80's skates i've ever seen.

Who would have known the CNN headquarters is here. They have great
hats and t-shirts, and powerful hand dryers for drying my soggy
laundry from that spirited skate around those screaming pylons. I'm
sure our luggage is having a good time in Phoenix.

Will is doing a bit better today for friends. He met a couple spanish
dudes on the train and one taught him some spanish words which he
jotted down on the train brochure. Currently he's sitting down to
dinner at "chili's bar and bites" with his date.
So, providing there are no more temptations to pass on this next
flight, especially for Will, we should be blasting off 'first clas's, in
an hour, to Phoenix. Hopefully the rental car that i booked 3
different times will be available. |
