Nashville

July 26-29, 2007 - Nashville, Tn.

I guess when you fly with free tickets, it means that you have to take the royal route to get to your destination. But a night's layover in Philedelphia would not go to waste, as Will called Phil E. and Tony S. to come a visit us from NJ. So as we waited for their arrival, we went to the Hilton for a bite to eat, and to check the rates. It turns out their rooms were a bit expensive, but the price was just right in the lobby, where we spend the first half on the night, deep in conversation with the NJ boys. They were also kind enough to drop us back off at the airpot at 2am were we set up camp to await our 5:30am departure.

After another short stop in Charlot, NC., we finally found ourselves in Nashville, at 9am friday morning, leaving plenty of time to tour the city.

Gaylord Opryland resort

Better defined as a big expensive sprawled out hotel with some really nice glass roof courtyards/shops and restaurants/convention center, this is what we came to Nashville for. The boat dealer meetings, consist of a sea of boats in two large rooms, seminars, and free meals.
