The mighty Jock River

April 22, 2007. - Jock river- Richmond, Ontario

On this fine late april day, the bloated Jock river was traversed by a small band of adventure seekers. Two kanus and one kayak, held afloat Ed, Will, Jerry, Dave, and Flip. A two hour paddle was all, from a point off Rickmond road, down river, through a swamp, over a few rapids, along the tracks and into town.

5 miles straight lining point A and B, plus all the curves, equals 2 hours of piddle paddling around .  all saddled up and waiting on the slow yak.
