Dec 4, 2007 - Kona, Hawaii

Just a bit of looking around today; the plan was to see the local sights and find a beach and a good spot to snorkle...

the Captain Cook monument accross the bay

The island's best snorkling was reported to be across the bay, and in front of the Cook monument. Kayaking across was a popular choice, but we elected to drive back up to the highway and hike down the rumoured 2 mile trail.
