The new Deck September 2005 - 6672 Roger Stevens rd. Well after nearly 25 years of an abrupt 5' drop out the back patio door, it was time to build a deck...

the 12'x20' frame laid out to fine tune the sonotube placement.	four of these 10" tubes going in, somewhere south of 4' deep

final adjustments before mixing the cement ..	a lot of concrete went down the tubes that day

and voila, the foundation is complete and ready for some framing (that sounded too easy)	...a curious passerbyer...

Kevin picks his nose while Dave works	it was a long day, but it's starting to look like a deck...

somebody wanted to be first to eat on the new deck (..it wasn't her)	somebody else wanted to take the first nap

lets skip ahead to the finished product..	..and what a difference

had just enough mulch..	now what's the point of that inner railing?
